MMEAC – Refurbishment Project
The MMEAC, Monica Mura Experimental Art Center, is currently in its technical refurbishment phase, with its opening scheduled for September 2026 in the Carabanchel district. Directed by the interdisciplinary artist Monica Mura and conceived under the White Cube aesthetic, the center is structured as a laboratory for research, production, and exhibition for avant-garde contemporary creation, with a special focus on performance and sound art. This proposal in Madrid is committed to technical sovereignty, eliminating the superfluous to enhance high-performance experimental practice; an ecosystem of thought where the architecture acts as an extension of the work itself.
